Dense texture, economical use. It has high transparency and forms an opaque layer upon application. Designed for painting on thick (non-glossy) paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, and for coloring products on a paper machine.

Painting with a spatula
Tempera can be applied with a spatula onto cardboard or wood. This technique is recommended to achieve a crackled effect; the accumulated blobs of paint crack because the outer layer dries faster than the layer beneath.

Splash painting
Splashing with a toothbrush is an effective way to create texture. To achieve larger splashes, you can use a round paintbrush dipped in plenty of paint, which can be tapped firmly against another paintbrush or with your fingers.

Printing with sponges
Apply the tempera to various shaped sponges directly from the bottle or from a palette with a mixture of the chosen color. Then press the sponge onto a surface, like a stamp, to leave its imprint. Rinse the sponge out before the paint dries to remove any paint residue.

Painting with three colors
A great variety of colors can be achieved by using blue, magenta, and yellow and mixing them together.
